End User License Agreement

This is the agreement presented to each signed-in Margin member before first use.

MARGIN READER END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This End User License Agreement ("Agreement") is between Express Tech Solutions PC Repair & Sales ("Express Tech," "we," or "us") and the individual member who accesses or uses Margin ("you"). By selecting the acceptance checkbox and choosing Accept and enter Margin, you confirm that you have read and agree to this Agreement.

1. MEMBER ACCOUNT AND ELIGIBILITY
Margin requires an individual Express Tech website account. You must provide accurate account information, protect your password, and use only your own account. Access is personal and may not be sold, shared, transferred, or used to provide unauthorized access to another person. Activity performed through your account is treated as your activity unless you promptly report unauthorized use.

2. LICENSE TO USE MARGIN
Express Tech grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Margin for personal reading, study, annotation, and lawful organizational purposes. Express Tech retains all rights in Margin, its interface, software, branding, and original materials. This Agreement does not transfer ownership of Margin or any third-party book.

3. BOOKS, CATALOGS, AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
Margin may connect to Project Gutenberg, Open Library, Internet Archive, browser speech services, and other authorized sources. Availability, metadata, editions, accessibility, and reader behavior are controlled partly by those services and may change. A listing in Margin is not a representation that Express Tech owns or sells the book. You must comply with the applicable source's terms and copyright restrictions.

4. IMPORTED CONTENT
You may import text only when you own it or have permission or a lawful right to read and store it. You are responsible for imported content. Do not use Margin to obtain, reproduce, distribute, or share infringing, illegal, malicious, or privacy-violating material. Express Tech may restrict access when misuse is reasonably suspected.

5. READING DATA AND DEVICE STORAGE
Reading position, bookmarks, highlights, notes, display preferences, and reading statistics may be stored locally on your device. Clearing browser or app data, replacing a device, or uninstalling Margin may remove locally stored information. Unless a future account-sync feature is clearly enabled, Express Tech does not promise cloud backup or recovery of this reading data. Account status and this EULA acceptance are stored by Express Tech for access control and compliance. Margin's optional anonymous usage analytics may send named feature actions, the current app area, app version, platform, timestamp, and a short-lived random session identifier to Express Tech. Analytics do not include book titles, authors, catalog searches, imported text, passages, highlights, notes, or reading progress, and may be disabled in Reading settings.

6. MARGIN GUIDE
Margin Guide provides automated reading assistance for summaries, themes, literary discussion, and recommendations. It may be incomplete or incorrect and is not a substitute for an authoritative edition, teacher, librarian, attorney, medical professional, financial professional, or other qualified expert. Do not submit passwords, payment information, private license keys, confidential records, or content you do not have permission to share.

7. ACCEPTABLE USE
You may not bypass authentication or access controls; probe or exploit Margin; interfere with its operation; scrape or automate access beyond normal personal use; introduce malware; impersonate another member; misuse third-party catalogs; reverse engineer Margin except where law expressly permits; or use Margin to violate law, intellectual-property rights, privacy, or another person's rights.

8. UPDATES, AVAILABILITY, AND CHANGES
Margin may be updated, suspended, limited, or discontinued. Internet-connected features require a compatible device, supported browser, and network access. Express Tech does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Your acceptance is recorded once for this EULA version on your member account. A materially revised agreement may require a new acceptance before continued use.

9. TERMINATION
You may stop using Margin at any time. Express Tech may suspend or terminate access for breach, security risk, legal requirements, misuse, or discontinuation. Sections that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, and responsibility for prior conduct—remain effective.

10. DISCLAIMER
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MARGIN IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." EXPRESS TECH DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. EXPRESS TECH DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT EVERY BOOK, LINK, CATALOG RECORD, ASSISTANT RESPONSE, IMPORT, OFFLINE FEATURE, OR DEVICE FUNCTION WILL BE ACCURATE, AVAILABLE, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE.

11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, EXPRESS TECH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOST DATA; LOST PROFITS; LOSS OF ACCESS; OR THIRD-PARTY CONTENT OR SERVICE FAILURES ARISING FROM MARGIN. THESE LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF A REMEDY FAILS OF ITS ESSENTIAL PURPOSE. RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE LIMITED REMAIN UNAFFECTED.

12. GOVERNING LAW AND CONTACT
This Agreement is governed by applicable United States law and the laws of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Questions, accessibility requests, security reports, or account concerns may be sent to brandon@expresstechpc.com or (513) 640-4179.

13. ENTIRE AGREEMENT
This Agreement, together with the Express Tech Terms, Privacy Policy, and any applicable third-party terms, is the agreement governing your use of Margin. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply.
